Manufacturing Operator

Job Title Manufacturing Operator Job Description As a Manufacturing Operator, you will be operating the assigned process/equipment in accordance with the work instructions. You will help support production volumes and quality under the production plan while using equipment and computerized systems to produce, assemble, evaluate, process and package parts in a climate-controlled environment. You will also conduct self-inspection of the product and check the quality of parts. Skills Manufacturing industry experience Production experience Assembly experience Machine operation experience Production line experience Additional Skills & Qualifications 1-3+ years of manufacturing experience (production, assembly, machine operation, warehouse, etc.) Computer literacy Ability to work well with individuals and teams to ensure the team meets & exceeds expectations Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for a period of up to 12 hours: Safety glasses Steel-toed shoes Nitrile gloves Clean room suit Must be able to do the following repeatedly for a period of up to 12 hours: Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds Stoop, twist, bend Reach overhead Sit and/or stand Experience Level Intermediate Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lansing, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
