Job Description

Our client, a manufacturing leader in precision machining, is seeking a Screw Machine Set Up/Operator to join their dedicated team. As a Screw Machine Set Up/Operator, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range:
$17/hr +, based on experience / shift premium offered for 2nd shift
Shift:
Training on 1st shift, then potential to stay on 1st or move to 2nd shift 1st
Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 5:00am-3:30pm 2nd
Shift:
Monday-Thursday, 3:20pm-1:50am Overtime Fridays if needed What's the Job? Set up jobs on screw machines to ensure efficient production Assist with repairing machines Check parts off the machine to verify compliance with print specifications Make tooling adjustments to ensure dimensional accuracy Operate and maintain equipment, performing routine maintenance activities What's Needed? Minimum of 2 years of screw machine setup experience Understanding of speeds and feeds formulas and calculations Ability to perform basic mathematics: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Ability to read non-digital micrometers and blueprints Capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and adhere to safety guidelines What's in it for me?
