Machine Operator - 3rd Shift | Bristol, IN (Main)Regular Employee | Hourly Non-Exempt | $22.00 - 22.00What you'll do: Setup and operate sheet metal fabricating machines, such as press brakes, shears,turret punch presses, saws, and presses, to cut, bend, and form sheet metalaccording to blueprints and specifications

JOBRESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speedenvironment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in acontinuous improvement environment
• Experience in a manufacturing environmentis a plus
• Perform necessary pre-operation activitiesto ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces ofequipment
• Operate/monitor multiple pieces ofequipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplannedstops
• Communicate with team members and supportteams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high qualitylevels with minimal wasted time and materials
• Performthe above within acceptable quality, quantity, performance, and safetystandards
• Operatedifferent forklift machines when necessaryWhat you need to be successful:
• Math skills including converting fractions to decimals
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to read a blueprint or be trained to read a blueprint
• Problem solving skills
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds and sliding 100 pounds without assistance
• Clean department and maintain neatnessin the surrounding work areas
