Job Description
Edge Bander Operator Dynamic Wood Products Inc. Job Summary Dynamic Wood Products is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Linear Edge Bander Operator to join our growing 2nd Shift manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating and maintaining linear edge banding equipment used in the production of high-quality office furniture and commercial casework components. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality, efficiency, and workplace safety. Responsibilities Operate linear/contour edge bander machinery to apply edge banding to laminated panels and components Set up, adjust, and monitor machine settings for various materials and specifications Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards, dimensions, and edge finishes meet company requirements Read work orders, production schedules, drawings, and specifications accurately Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform routine maintenance and cleaning Maintain accurate production documentation and quality records using tablets or PC-based systems Verify measurements and visually inspect components before and after processing Work closely with production, CNC, assembly, and quality teams to maintain workflow efficiency Follow all company safety procedures and housekeeping expectations Qualifications Previous edge bander, woodworking, cabinetmaking, laminating, or manufacturing experience preferred Experience in office furniture, cabinetry, millwork, or commercial casework manufacturing is a plus Ability to read tape measures, shop drawings, and production paperwork Basic computer and tablet proficiency for production tracking and documentation Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required Preferred Skills Experience with automated woodworking machinery Mechanical troubleshooting abilities Understanding of laminate materials and edge banding applications Forklift experience is a plus Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health insurance options Paid time off and holidays Stable full-time employment Opportunities for advancement and cross-training Schedule Full-time Monday-Thursday, 2pm to Midnight and Friday's from 2pm to 7pm Additional overtime available as needed Dynamic Wood Products is committed to producing high-quality office furniture components while maintaining a safe, team-oriented work environment.
