Saw Operator Job Description As a Saw Operator, you will play a vital role in our industrial-sized waste handling equipment production by running the manual saw and cutting steel tubing for machines. This position requires proficiency in reading tape measures and blueprints, along with a basic understanding of computers. A keen attention to detail is essential for success in this role. Responsibilities Operate the saw to cut steel tubing for industrial machinery. Read and interpret tape measures and blueprints accurately. Utilize computer systems as required for job tasks. Ensure precision and quality in all cutting tasks. Essential Skills Proficiency in saw operation and cutting tools. Ability to read and interpret tape measures. Experience with blueprint reading. Basic computer operation skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in cutting steel is highly valued. Why Work Here? Work Environment This role operates on the 1st shift from 6am to 2pm, or until 4pm when overtime is necessary. The position follows a Monday to Friday schedule. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Shelbyville, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
