Reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor, as a Process Technician, you will be responsible for performing tasks that are necessary to provide high quality, efficient, timely production, and shipment of Sonoco products running machines from different lines. You will be required to learn and excel in multiple departments. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success

What You'll Be Doing:

Responsible to maintain a Clean and Safe work area and report any Unsafe Working Conditions.

Performs all responsibilities in a manner which ensures that the quality expectations of every customer (internal and external) are met or exceeded and that continuous improvement is achieved.

Knows, understands, and follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to the position.

Responsible for accurate Completion of the Mold Set Up / Job Verification ChecklistAssists with relieving Production Associates for breaksPreform all Material Handling duties as assignedPreform all phases of Mold Installation and Secondary Equipment.

Basic Machine & mold PM'sPerforms other related duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor We'd love to hear from you if:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position, secondary education is preferredHave a "get it done" attitude and an urgency to resolve problems/tasksWorking independently and managing multiple tasks simultaneously is neededAbility to effectively work with a team in a fast-paced environment is crucial to successMust have excellent math skills, English language reading and writing skills, basic mechanical skills and strong interpersonal skillsForklift experienceAbility to lift 55 lbs. and able to stand for extended periods of time.
