Monday•Friday | 7:00 AM•3:30 PM Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to support production operations by ensuring equipment runs efficiently while producing high-quality products with minimal waste or rejections. This role is responsible for operating packaging equipment, performing in-process quality checks, supporting equipment cleaning and changeovers, and assisting with basic troubleshooting activities. Key Responsibilities Operate packaging equipment during production runs while following safety and quality standards Perform operator duties within the work center, including: In-process quality inspections Manual filling and packaging Loading machinery with components Assist Mechanics with basic equipment set-ups and changeovers Communicate effectively with Mechanics, Process Coordinators, and Supervisors to ensure smooth production flow Disassemble, clean, and sanitize equipment according to cleaning and line clearance procedures Assist with equipment cleaning, inspection, and preparation activities Perform line clearance of components and product mass Identify and troubleshoot basic equipment issues and assist in resolving failure modes Notify Supervisors, Process Coordinators, and Mechanics of component shortages or operational concerns Provide detailed shift crossover communication to incoming operators Monitor attainment boards and production efficiency goals Complete production and operational paperwork accurately and timely Qualifications Previous manufacturing or packaging experience preferred Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Ability to follow GMP, safety, and quality procedures Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
