Pay:
$24-$26/hr
Job Summary:
Our client, a metals processing and distribution company in Blaine, MN, is seeking a skilled Plate Saw Operator to join their 2nd shift team. This role is critical to plant operations, ensuring precise aluminum plate cutting and efficient order fulfillment. If you have strong math skills, enjoy hands-on work, and thrive in a manufacturing environment, this is a great opportunity to grow with a reputable company.
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience loading, setting up, and operating CNC machines (routers, lathes, mills) or industrial saws quality inspection experience skills in following safety protocols skills in performing basic troubleshooting or preventative maintenance on machines/saws ability to interpret shop drawings/work instructions Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and tape measures Experience changing bits, blades, and inserts, as well as making offsets and calibrations
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required Strong math skills with the ability to read tape measures, calipers, and micrometers Previous experience in a plant or manufacturing environment preferred Valid driver's license required Ability to work overtime as needed
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs Frequent standing, bending, twisting, and reaching throughout the shift Comfortable working in a warehouse environment
