Atlas Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable 1st Shift Machine Operator. The primary focus of this role is to operate plastic injection molding machines while ensuring the visual quality of parts meets our high standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently during overnight hours.What You'll Be Doing:
Ensure raw materials are loaded and processed correctly to meet production requirements. Perform visual inspections of molded parts for defects, including warping, sink marks, burn marks, and other imperfections. Communicate effectively with the incoming and outgoing shifts to ensure continuity. What makes you a great fit: Previous experience in plastic injection molding or manufacturing is required; additional on-the-job training will be provided. Experience using powered hand tools with safety in mind Strong visual inspection skills to identify part defects and ensure quality standards. Prior forklift experience is preferred, but not a required Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Basic understanding of machine operations.
