WORK HOURS
Monday - Thursday 6:00-4:30 Friday 6:00-11:00 As Needed for Overtime

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our Set-Up Technician should have knowledge of metal stamping and/or experience in a manufacturing environment. Relay quality and production issues to management. Exhibit a strong attention to detail and be a thorough communicator within all levels of the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Setup brake and punch presses from 18T to 225T
  • Produce parts to meet compliance standards & reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Capable of setting up short to medium run stage and progressive tooling
  • Setup production tooling and material feeders
  • Troubleshoot causes when parts do not conform to customer specifications
  • Understand the basics of production tooling and equipment
  • Maintain quality and safety standards
  • Maintain general housekeeping in the work area
  • Ability to stand/sit up to 10 hours per day and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to acquire and maintain forklift license; operate a forklift in a safe and productive manner
  • Perform other duties as needed to continue the operation of the shop in the most productive and efficient manner
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
  • 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience
  • Be able to read and interpret blueprints and job routings, GD&T a plus
  • Be proficient in the use of calipers, micrometer, height gauge, gauge pins and drop through gauges
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently in order to derive and communicate information from manufacturing documents
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening
Pay:
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
