About this Opportunity:
Federal Package is a contract manufacturer and packaging company that primarily serves the health, beauty, and personal care industries. The company works with a wide range of consumer products including lip balms, deodorants, sunscreen sticks, anti-chafe products, lotions, and other skincare items.
What You'll Be Doing:
Read and follow detailed mixing instructions to accurately blend raw ingredients in large industrial kettles while maintaining product quality and consistency
Weigh raw materials and drums using calibrated scales, and safely transfer materials to and from industrial ovens using assistive equipment and forklifts
Record raw material, batch, and finished product measurements in compliance with SOPs, GMP, and FDA regulations while maintaining accurate ERP/MRP chemical inventory records
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following PPE requirements and workplace safety procedures at all times
What makes you a great fit:
High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment; strong mechanical/electrical aptitude required.
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, organization, and communication skills, with attention to detail and basic computer/MS Office proficiency.
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs., adapt to changing priorities, support continuous improvement initiatives, and work overtime as needed, including occasional Saturdays.
Preferred:
Vocational/technical certification (automation, robotics, or mechatronics), experience with automation, controls, PLCs, and manufacturing—ideally in an FDA-regulated environment.
