Job Description
Express is supporting an industry leader in their search for a Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the warehouse processes within a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess warehouse knowledge, hands-on experience following instructions, and familiarity with warehouse equipment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to efficient production workflows, ensure quality standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives. What's an average day like as a Shipping and Receiving Specialist? Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, ensuring safety and efficiency Assist with testing staging and pulling inventory Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor, ensuring compliance with safety protocols Conduct quality inspections on assembled products to meet specified standards Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while adhering to safety guidelines Document production activities accurately and report any issues or discrepancies promptly Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing productivity and reducing waste What do we look for in a Shipping and Receiving Specialist? 1-2 years minimum of working within a warehouse setting Demonstrated warehouse knowledge related to staging processes and equipment operation Hands-on experience with warehouse operations and inventory handling Strong understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing setting Previous experience using warehouse management software is a plus Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail If you are passionate about manufacturing, possess strong warehouse skills, and thrive in a team-oriented environment, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity as a Shipping & Receiving Specialist.
