ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Woodworking
- Set-up and operate wood sawing machines
- Operate drill presses, routers, sanders, planers and wood-nailing machines
- Work from drawings to determine size and shape of items manufactured Quality
- Ability to choose the best material and lengths for a given task
- Be a meaningful part in the department quality control program
- Show consistent initiative in crafting a quality product Safety
- Follow safety rules and procedures
- Report unsafe acts, all accidents and near misses
- Operate equipment accurately and only if trained and authorized to do so
- Follow good housekeeping practices Other Essential Job Functions
- Provide regular, consistent and timely attendance
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs frequently and 70-100 lbs occasionally
- Work in an environment that has the potential for wood dust particles to be floating in the air
- Some overtime may be required
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Education or GED 1 year in a woodworking or manufacturing environment preferred Ability to lift 75 - 100 lbs occasionally

Quality conscience Excellent interpersonal and time management skills Basic math and writing aptitude Knowledge of a variety of woodworking equipment Blueprint/drawing comprehension Team player with a positive attitude
