$21.00 - $23.00 per hour Job description: We are seeking a dependable Machine Operator to join our production team in Eden Prairie, MN. This temp-to-hire role is responsible for operating machinery on a daily basis to ensure high-quality output, consistent production flow, and proper equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to meeting production standards. Duties Prepare materials for die-cutting by rolling, sheeting, and/or applying pressure-sensitive adhesive. Load single or multiple layers of material onto the machine's cutting surface or feed mechanism. Set up machines based on material thickness and die depth requirements. Position and secure cutting dies to maximize material usage and accuracy. Operate machinery by engaging controls to complete cutting processes. Remove and inspect finished parts to confirm they meet quality specifications. Operate Operate Tunkers Mounting Machine for printing Measure parts and compare to standards using rulers or templates. Organize and stack parts in designated storage areas according to size and shape. Perform basic maintenance and cleaning to keep machines running smoothly. Assist with other production tasks as needed. Qualifications Less than high school education, or equivalent work experience/training (up to 1 month). Ability to read and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and basic diagrams. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, and percentages. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow written, verbal, or diagrammed instructions. Physically able to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear regularly; occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be required. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. as needed. Comfortable working with production chemicals such as glue, bonding agents, and sprays.
