SUMMARY:

Operate the CNC table laser cutting machine and perform other miscellaneous tasks as supervision deems necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Loads and unloads raw materials from the laser table bed with a forklift or hoist. Selects proper cutting programs and fixtures. Selects and sets up lenses based on material type and thickness. Loads programs and sets machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment. Establishes proper stop location and adjusts laser beam focal point. Makes proper set-ups for cutting operations. Performs all dimensional inspections. Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions. Performs Autonomous Maintenance as outlined for the machine. Completes all weekly, daily and monthly 5S tasks.
