Packaging Operator

Job Summary Lallemand Bio-Ingredients USA is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Packaging Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently packaging 50# bags to meet quality standards and production goals. Your focus will be on ensuring that packaging processes are carried out safely, accurately, and in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where precision and teamwork drive success. Work schedule is 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm; 6pm-6am) rotating weekly. (2 days on - 2 days off, 3 days on - 2 days off) Affording the right individual plenty of time off, to enjoy their hobbies or to just relax. Responsibilities Operate and monitor packaging machinery to prepare products for shipment while maintaining safety protocols. Use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move raw materials and finished goods efficiently. Conduct quality checks on packaged products to ensure they meet specifications, adhere to FDA regulations and GMP standards. Maintain accurate records of packaging activities, including batch numbers, quantities, and inspection results. Follow safety procedures diligently, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety guidelines. Qualifications Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred, especially in packaging operations and the ability to lift 50# bags. Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and effectively. Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and recording data accurately. Familiarity with CGMP standards applicable in manufacturing environments. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance. From $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 - 48.0 per week
