Machine Laser Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machine Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art laser cutting machinery to produce precise metal components and fabricated parts. Your expertise in laser cutting, programming, and various fabrication techniques will ensure high-quality output and efficiency. Duties Set up and operate laser cutting machines, ensuring accurate calibration and alignment for each job. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to produce parts that meet exact dimensions and tolerances. Program laser machines using specialized software to optimize cutting paths and improve productivity. Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments on laser equipment to maintain optimal performance. Operate forklifts and cranes safely to move raw materials or finished products within the facility. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling sheet metal, tooling, and heavy machinery to prevent accidents or injuries. Support continuous improvement initiatives by maintaining accurate documentation of production processes and quality checks. Experience Proven experience operating laser cutting machines in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with blueprint reading Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, fabrication, assembly, and tooling. Basic math skills necessary for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and material requirements. Knowledge of safety procedures related to crane operation, sheet metal handling, hand tools usage, and quality inspection standards. Pay:

$17.00 - $23.00 per hour
