Job Description

Laser Operator - 2nd Shift (Temporary Through August) Position Overview We are a family-owned manufacturing company seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our team on 2nd shift. This temporary position will run through August and offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced production environment while contributing to a company that values teamwork, quality, and employee involvement. Shift:
Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM Includes a $2.00 per hour shift differential Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor laser cutting equipment to produce quality parts according to specifications. Load and unload materials safely and efficiently. Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production schedules. Perform routine machine inspections and basic maintenance. Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain accurate production records. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. Qualifications Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred, but willing to train motivated candidates. Ability to read measuring tools and follow written instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic.
