Packaging Technician 1 (Entry Level)
Schedule:
Full-time, 40+ hours Job Summary This is a full-time position within our production facility. Packaging Technicians 1 are responsible for day-to-day operation and maintenance of all packaging equipment to produce high-quality and consistent products under the supervision of the Packaging Director.
Reports to:
Packaging Director Essential Duties Package Beer, Hard Seltzer, Soft Drinks, and Cannabis Beverages utilizing the canning and 2oz. bottling lines. Packaging work including but not limited to: pallet loading and unloading, pallet wrapping and storage, bottle loading & unloading, pack-off, keg washing, keg filling, seam integrity checks, inventory, cooler organization, warehouse transportation, and all other tasks as assigned by the Packaging Director or Packaging Lead. Perform necessary and preventative maintenance as directed by the Packaging Director or Lead. Maintain accurate and detailed records Perform strict quality control procedures as directed by the Packaging Director or Lead. Transfer inventory between off-site storage locations as needed Perform Cellar work as needed, including but not limited to: product carbonation, carbonation testing, gravity checks, and all other tasks as assigned by the Packaging Director. Qualifications and Skills Must be comfortable working around beer, hard beverages, and Cannabis. Knowledge of brewing industry or beer preferred Able to learn and follow SOPs Able to lift 55 lbs repeatedly and 165 lbs occasionally Able to stand 8-10 hours per day Able to operate a forklift after completion of training Must have evening availability and occasional weekend availability Must be available for occasional overtime Personal vehicle preferred Please submit a Resume and Cover Letter. Competitive benefits offered. Salary is listed to start at $17 / hour during a 90-day probationary period before adjusting to $18.50 / hour.
