Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Overview Spherion Staffing is seeking a motivated and versatile CNC Panel Saw Operator for a local leader in custom packaging and shipping solutions. This isn't just a "sit and press a button" job—we need a "Universal Player" who can master the CNC Panel Saw, jump on a forklift to move materials, and assist in other production areas when the saw is caught up.

Key Responsibilities CNC Operation:

Set up and run a CNC Panel Saw to precision-cut lumber materials for custom crates and packaging.

Forklift Operation:

Safely operate a forklift to transport raw materials to the saw and move finished products to the shipping area.

Cross-Functional Support:

When the saw schedule is clear, you will act as a "Universal" team member, assisting in material handling, forklift operation and more.

Quality Assurance:

Use tape measures and calipers to ensure all cuts meet exact customer specifications.

Material Handling:

Manually load, flip, and move heavy materials throughout the shift.

Requirements Forklift Proficiency:

Required. Must be comfortable and experienced in operating a forklift in a production environment.

Physical Capability:

Must be able to lift 50+ lbs consistently throughout the day.

Technical Skills:

Experience with CNC machinery or industrial saws is highly preferred. Must be able to read a tape measure to the 1/16th.

Adaptability:

A "can-do" attitude and the willingness to help in different departments as needed.

Reliability:
