Molder Operator - Split Shift

Shift Differential Job Summary:

The Molder Operator is responsible for running the molder machine, checking quality of product and moving staffing area upon completion.

Job Duties:

Receives and reviews Kanban orders as well as organizes work station i.e., wood, boxes, etc. Obtains appropriate material and cutting heads as well as installs heads on molder. Starts molder machine and loads. Runs sample piece(s) and determines if they are within dimensional range as well as finish specifications. Additionally, makes necessary adjustments if not within dimensional range. Unloads completed product and boxes or wraps and moves to staging area. Fills out invoice. Fits in hot orders as needed. Follows maintenance schedule, cleaning, greasing and calling maintenance as needed. Performs other positions as needed. Completes paperwork as needed. Uses caliper to check dimensions and quality. Changes sanding brushes as needed.
