GENERAL PURPOSE
Operate all ESL (extended shelf live) aseptic filling equipment on site while following all policies and procedures to production lines. Train, assist, and provide work direction to both Aseptic and ESL Filler Operators.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
. Perform efficient set up, operation, handwashing, CIP, and sterilization of all ESL and aseptic filling equipment for production . Review upcoming production schedules to verify the necessary and correct materials are available . Verify package integrity and quality checks for all ESL and aseptic filling lines . Maintain documents for accuracy and completeness, providing clarification and direction to operators . Provide training to all filler operators as part of the new hire process or refresher training as needed . Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately . Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues . Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements . Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
. High school diploma or equivalent preferred . 4 to 6 years of experience or 4+ years of experience with demonstrated leadership attributes . Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
. Able to follow directions and carry out instructions . Able to effectively work in a team environment . Able to legibly write entries for record keeping . Able to work in a fast-paced environment . Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals . Must be able to read, write and speak
