What is an Operator (C)?This individual is responsible for compounding batches of gel coat and colorants and then packing those materials to be shipped. What You Can Expect to Do as an Operator (C): Ability to follow compounding procedures on batch cards to make batches or batch samples. Provide accurate recording of activities, ingredients and other required information and data. Properly return unused raw materials to proper storage areas. Ensure that all drums and containers are properly sealed and labeled for shipping. Ability to move drums and containers to the warehouse location of the facility in a safe manner. Ensure that work environment is clean, warehouse is proper and organized and isles are not blocked with raw materials or finished goods. Provide light maintenance to prevent contamination such as cleaning vessels and equipment, replacing blades, filter bags and baskets on pumps. What We Are Looking For in an Operator (C): High School Diploma or GED Strong ability to follow safety regulations, read and understand written instructions. Ability to pass and wear a respirator mask and hear a variety of warning alarms. Forklift Certified or must be able to pass forklift training in order to obtain a certification. Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and 100 pounds assisted. Must be able to use a drum cart to move drums weighing up to 650 lb. Previous experience with batch compounding and/or manufacturing background is preferred. Why Join IP Corporation?
