Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plastic Manufacturer to join our dynamic production team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various manufacturing processes related to plastics, including blow molding, extrusion, and injection molding. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate a variety of machinery while ensuring quality standards are met throughout the production process. Responsibilities Operate and maintain machinery used in plastics manufacturing, including blow molding, extrusion, and injection molding machines. Conduct quality inspections of products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure compliance with specifications. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine operations and troubleshooting. Perform assembly tasks as needed, ensuring all components fit together correctly. Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the manufacturing process. Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with lean manufacturing principles. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment as required. Utilize hand tools and fabrication techniques to assist in the production of plastic components. Skills Proficient in operating CNC machines, including CNC lathes, with a strong understanding of machining processes. Experience with press brake machines for shaping plastic materials. Solid mechanical knowledge with an ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and standards within the manufacturing industry. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding logistics within the manufacturing environment. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Pay:
$15.00 1st and 2nd shift and $16.00 for 3rd shift
