General Purpose Laborer

GAT Systems is looking to add a new member to the team! Our company has been a B2B partner in the Custom Finishing industry for over 60 years. Our current opening is for a general purpose laborer in our plant. The individual will support various departments by interpreting mechanical blueprints, determining appropriate tools and metals, using cutting tools, and assembling metal pieces. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities we are looking for: Perform various physical duties as assigned Duties include, but not limited to: Insulating oven panels Operate spot welding machine Operate band saw Cut, thread, and assemble PVC and CPVC assemblies Assist in loading and unloading of trucks Maintain a safe and clean working environment Ability to read a tape measure Operate various power tools to cut/route poly panels Jigsaw, router, drill/holesaw, circular saw

Required Education and Experience:

High School Diploma Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus, but not required. Will train. Excellent stamina, strength, and dexterity. Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
