Job Description

Job Summary Creative Polymers is a small coatings company specializing in producing high-quality polyureas, polyurethanes and epoxy products through precise batching and mixing processes. This position will oversee the preparation of chemical batches, manage material handling, and support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production flow. Your expertise will help us deliver innovative solutions while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and safety protocols. Duties Accurately measure, mix, and prepare chemical batches following detailed recipes and safety guidelines. Maintain accurate batch records and production logs Operate manufacturing equipment such as mixers, scales, and other machinery with precision. Handle raw materials and finished products using forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area Transfer finished materials to holding tanks, drums, or gallon kits. Support packaging operations by preparing finished products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation. Assist in laboratory testing and quality control procedures to verify batch consistency and product specifications. Follow lean manufacturing principles to identify waste reduction opportunities and improve process efficiency. Participate in inventory management and materials handling tasks within the warehouse or storage areas. Adhere to safety protocols, including proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and safe forklift operation. Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing or laboratory settings preferred; familiarity with chemical processes is a plus. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely within a warehouse environment. Experience with packaging processes and materials handling procedures. Ability to operate standard mixing equipment or perform basic machining tasks is advantageous. Warehouse experience including inventory management, shipping, and receiving is desirable. Basic experience with Microsoft Office Suite Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50-75 lbs regularly Standing, walking, and working on feet for extended periods Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and chemical exposure Hours of Operation M-F 8 am - 4:30 pm
Pay:
$24.00 - $25.00 per hour
