Job Title:
3rd Shift Machine Operator Job Description As a Production Worker, you will be responsible for feeding precut corrugated sheets into machines that print, score, perforate, and slot them for forming into boxes, displays, or other items. This role involves lifting, packing, and stacking, with the potential to advance to operating machinery in finishing or flexo printing areas. You will also adjust scoring, perforating, and slotting disks or knives in machines as directed, using tools such as a wrench and tape measure. Operating an EFI Machine that prints onto the boxes may also be part of your duties. Responsibilities Feed precut corrugated sheets into machines for processing. Lift, pack, and stack materials as required. Assist operators with machinery tasks. Adjust scoring, perforating, and slotting disks or knives in machines using tools like wrenches and tape measures. Operate EFI Machine for printing onto boxes. Essential Skills Experience in production, general labor, and assembly. Forklift operation skills. Proficiency in general production and machine operation. Skills in inspection, packing, and troubleshooting. Ability to repeatedly lift 30 lbs up to 360 times an hour to load machinery. Additional Skills & Qualifications Good mechanical aptitude. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is loud and non-temperature controlled, requiring adaptability to a fast-paced and sometimes hectic setting. Shifts is third shift (11pm-7am), with potential overtime as needed throughout the week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgeton, MO.
