Full Job Description Job Summary:

The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC laser cutting and other machines to produce high-quality metal products. The ideal candidate will have experience running laser cutters or plasma cutting machines, the ability to read and interpret blueprints, and a strong background in fabrication mathematics. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate CNC laser cutting machines to produce metal components according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine cutting paths and dimensions. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC laser machines to ensure optimal performance. Set up and adjust machine settings to achieve precise cuts and minimize material waste. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and meet production targets. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. Document production activities and machine performance for quality control purposes.

Qualifications:

Proven experience operating CNC laser cutters or plasma cutting machines Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Proficiency in fabrication mathematics, including measurements, angles, and tolerances Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in CNC operation is preferred Willing to submit to drug and background screening Express Employment Professionals is one of the top staffing companies in the U.S. and Canada.
