7:30am-4:00pm (Mon-Fri) QPS Employment Group has a great Machine Operator position available at a company in St. Peters, MO. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Monitor machine performance, material flow, temperatures, and production output to ensure consistent product quality.
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshoot minor mechanical issues, and report equipment concerns to maintenance.
- Measure, inspect, and verify product dimensions using basic quality tools (calipers, gauges, scales).
- Document production data, machine settings, material usage, and any deviations from standard processes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and quality procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and support continuous improvement efforts.
Machine Operator Requirements:
- Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience, preferably in plastics or related industries.
- Ability to read and follow production instructions, safety procedures, and basic technical documents.
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality products.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as required.
