This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a growing team offering long-term potential and overtime opportunities. Schedule & Pay Training Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM•2:00 PM for approximately 4-6 weeks Regular Shift:
3rd Shift | Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM•6:00 AM Pay Rate:
$18•19/hour Position Overview The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating rewinder and finishing equipment to convert post-press materials into finished products according to customer specifications and job ticket instructions. This role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities Effectively operate and monitor rewinder machinery to produce quality finished products Set up machines according to customer and production specifications Perform and document quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards Inspect finished products for accuracy and attention to detail Retrieve cores, boxes, and other production materials needed for daily operations Inspect equipment for defects and assist with basic maintenance as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow written job tickets and verbal instructions accurately Participate in team meetings, training, and continuous improvement initiatives Work overtime as needed; overtime schedules are typically communicated earlier in the week Requirements High school diploma or GED required Previous machine operating experience is a plus, but not required Strong attention to detail, especially in finishing work Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent twisting, turning, and maneuvering of large rolls/materials Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly Basic math skills and understanding of measurements/conversions Reliable attendance and punctuality are extremely important Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team 10236065 Share this job Copied url To save a job sign in or get started To apply for this job email your details to I want more jobs like this in my inbox.
