Position Summary:

Anistar is seeking Entry Level Cable Technicians for a long term opportunity to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables. The ideal candidate will under general supervision, maintain a highly analytical and problem solving mindset while working as a team player. Candidates will gain experience in running, testing, and terminating low voltage equipment for large data center projects.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assisting with the pulling/installation of new fiber/cat6 cables in a new construction environment
• Installation of cable support structures - fiber tray, cable tray, ladder rack, etc.
• Manual labor - moving boxes and materials around the job site
• Must be able to follow directions and learn
• Must have prior commercial new construction experience
• Must be able to work with a large team

Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to climb ladders and work from elevated work platforms (Boom and/or scissor lift)
• Must be capable of lifting 50-75lbs
• Must be able to follow directions and learn
• Must have an OSHA10 construction or be willing to obtain
