Job Description

Tent Technician (Entry-Level) Celebrate Event & Party Rentals - Bigfork, Montana Position Summary Celebrate Event & Party Rentals is seeking a dependable, hardworking Tent Technician to join our growing team. This is an entry-level position, and we will provide on-the-job training. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in physical work, and is willing to work overtime as needed during our busy event season. Tent Technicians are responsible for the delivery, installation, maintenance, and removal of event tents and related rental equipment for weddings, corporate events, festivals, and private parties throughout Northwest Montana. Key Responsibilities Load, unload, and transport tents, tables, chairs, dance floors, and other rental equipment. Assist with the setup and teardown of event tents of various sizes. Safely use hand tools and equipment required for tent installation. Follow installation plans and company safety procedures. Inspect equipment before and after events for cleanliness and damage. Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while interacting with customers. Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and equipment maintenance when not in the field. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications No experience required—we will train the right candidate. Must be at least 16 years old. Valid driver's license preferred. Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds regularly. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Comfortable working on ladders and performing physically demanding tasks. Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Work Schedule Full-time seasonal position with the potential for year-round employment. Weekend work will be required during peak event season. Must be willing to work overtime as needed, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends. Physical Requirements Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of equipment weighing up to 50 pounds or more. Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing for extended periods.
