Yard Laborer (Lumber Yard)

Summary :

We are looking to hire full-time in our yard as a Yard Laborer. Opportunities for advancement for committed employees who show strength in dependability, attitude, and skill set . This includes the ability to earn a Commercial Driver's License with an in-house certified CDL trainer. Consistent work schedule, M-F with over time. No experience is necessary, Company training offered.

Adheres to all company safety policies while preforming assigned duties in a productive and efficient manner. Material handling is a primary responsibility of this position. Therefore, ensuring product is handled in a safe manner which prevents material damage is essential. Maintain a professional and courteous manner to all customers and co-workers. Yard laborers will be responsible for the continual loading and/or unloading of materials into or on to customer vehicles. This may require the regular use of equipment to do so, or possibly manual manipulation of materials. Required regularly to climb ladders to elevated platforms. This must always be done safely and without damage to product or property. Maintain stock and flat stack lumber as needed to ensure Loader efficiency. Performance of other related duties as assigned.

Requirements :

Must have a valid driver's license & be insurable. Forklift certification is a requirement of this position. Training & certification will be provided by Company. Must perform company designed pre-employment physical evaluation. Must have a negative drug screening prior to hire and for all random selection tests following hire ( this includes the testing for THC ). With this position being a safety sensitive position you must be 18 to apply.
