This role will support daily shop operations by producing high-quality parts and components for a variety of internal teams. Combining combines hands-on machine operation, basic fabrication, and careful inspection to ensure every part meets exact specifications. Wage:
$20 to $25/hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
Swing shift: Monday through Thursday, 10 hours shifts 4 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. 3 Day Weekends!
Essential Functions and Duties:
Operate multiple shop tools and machines (like CNC router, laser, water jet, mill, lathe, forklift, and cranes) to make, modify, or repair parts Read work orders, blueprints, sketches, and instructions to plan machining steps and choose tools Perform basic machining and assembly tasks using standard shop equipment and power tools Inspect parts for accuracy using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools, and make adjustments or repairs as needed Arrange and nest parts efficiently to reduce material waste Set up machines for moderately complex jobs, using basic trigonometry to calculate angles when required
Qualifications:
2 years of related experience preferred Developed basic skills needed to perform daily tasks effectively Able to solve common problems independently using established methods Responsible for the quality and accuracy of their own work Communicates clearly to exchange information with coworkers High School Diploma or GED Get in touch!
