Job Description

Job Title:
CNC Folder Operator (Metal Roofing)
Job Summary:
We're looking for a reliable Folder Operator to join our metal roofing production team. This role focuses on fabricating metal roofing trim, flashing, and custom pieces using a sheet metal folding machine in a fast-paced shop environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable with measurements and angles, and committed to producing high-quality work on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate a folding machine to bend and form metal roofing trim and flashing Interpret work orders, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication Measure materials and verify finished parts meet required dimensions and tolerances Track and prioritize production orders to ensure accuracy and on-time completion Coordinate with panel production to match trim to roofing orders Operate additional equipment such as sheet metal shears as needed Safely operate a forklift to move materials and load completed orders Perform routine machine checks and basic maintenance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications:
Experience operating folders or similar sheet metal equipment preferred Understanding of angles, measurements, and basic math Ability to read a tape measure and follow production specs accurately Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Forklift experience or willingness to learn Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move materials (50+ lbs) Standing for extended periods Comfortable working in a shop/warehouse environment Preferred (Not Required): Experience in metal roofing fabrication (trim/flashing) Familiarity with CNC controls and basic programming
