Machine Operator

Hours of Work :
Day Shift- 7:00 pm to 7:00 am PrideStaff is recruiting for Machine Operators for a manufacturing company located in Arden .
Job Summary :
Responsible for visually inspecting for defects and packaging the product from presses during production.Duties and Responsibilities :
Check the packaging instructions and package product according to the instructions. Count or perform weigh-counts to verify quantity. Place label on boxes. Perform pour-ups on automatic machines by fully inspecting one shot from the mold prior to packing parts and removal of all runners, strings and loose plastic prior to packaging. Grind runners as needed. Record scrap hourly on the proper documents. Inform supervisor if scrap rate is high. Insert disk, pins or inserts into the mold in the correct fashion if overmold is required. Complete any secondary operations such as assembly, trimming, welding and printing as needed. Respond timely to press alarms or malfunctions and segregate any suspect product. Notify supervisor and quality representative of alarms, press malfunctions and any suspected part. Complete daily reports. Sorting product when assigned to do so. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Complete all work in a safe manner and in accordance with ISO9001 and other company standards.Qualifications and Requirements :
Ability to perform basic math. Ability to use various gages and fixtures. Ability to stand during the entire shift. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.What's In It For Me :
