is hiring Machine Operators for its textile manufacturing operation.
Location:
Belmont, NC Schedule:
Full-time - 1st and 2nd Shifts available We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our production team as Machine Operators . This is a hands-on manufacturing role where you'll operate equipment, support efficient production, and help ensure our products meet high standards for quality and safety. Details of Responsibilities:
Operate production machinery safely and efficiently to meet quality and output goals. Follow verbal and written instructions to produce assigned products accurately. Perform machine set-ups according to equipment and style specifications. Inspect products during operation and document findings as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including returning tools to designated locations. Wear required PPE (steel-toe shoes and ear protection) at all times. Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures. Report product issues, equipment malfunctions, or injuries to management promptly. What We're Looking For Strong attention to detail. Dependable work habits and good attendance. Ability to follow instructions and work safely. Willingness to learn and operate machinery.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. One year of related experience or training preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Able to communicate effectively in one-on-one or small-group settings. Basic math skills, including working with fractions, decimals, rates, ratios, and percentages. Ability to read a tape measure or rule. Ability to follow written, verbal, or diagram-based instructions. Capable of solving routine problems involving a few concrete variables. Strong time-management, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.
Physical Demands:
(Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.) Ability to bend, lift, stoop, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly. Must be able to stand for the entire shift. Physical activities include standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, hearing, and smelling. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and depth perception, along with the ability to adjust focus. Must pass a drug screen.
Work Environment:
