This is a hands-on role working with advanced fiber laser equipment to produce high-quality sheet metal components. What You'll Be Doing You will be responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting equipment to produce metal parts that meet exact specifications. Set up and operate industrial fiber laser machines Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and job specifications Monitor cutting operations and adjust parameters as needed Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools Troubleshoot machine issues and clear alarms Perform routine maintenance and keep equipment and work area clean Track production data including cycle times and operator notes Handle raw materials and finished products safely What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience in sheet metal or related industry Prior experience operating an industrial fiber laser Ability to operate manual and automated production equipment Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to read prints and follow work instructions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Self-motivated with strong attention to detail Lean manufacturing or ISO experience is a plus Why This Role Stands Out This is a role where your skill and precision directly impact the final product.
