This role is responsible for accurately mixing raw materials to produce finished products according to batch instructions and customer specifications. Chemical Blenders play a vital role in ensuring products are mixed correctly, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Set up and start mixing tanks and blenders for production batches. Review, obtain, and follow all batch documentation and production instructions. Verify and use correct ingredients and quantities for each batch. Pump and pour chemicals into blend tanks according to predetermined formulas and weights. Safely operate equipment including mixers, scales, meters, pumps, and forklifts. Monitor raw material usage to ensure proper weights and accurate additions. Return unused raw materials to inventory with correct labeling, quantities, and container condition. Follow lab instructions related to batch approvals, adjustments, and additional requirements. Clean and maintain equipment as required. Communicate effectively with material handlers and production operators regarding material needs and batch readiness. Report equipment issues, safety concerns, or process problems to leads or supervisors promptly. Complete all batch records and production paperwork accurately and on time. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment strongly preferred. Previous chemical batch processing experience strongly preferred. Ability to multitask and work independently in a production environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to safely handle and manipulate 55-gallon chemical drums. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Ability to safely climb up and down stairs. Ability to work with changing noise levels. Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress manufacturing environment.
