Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented 2nd Shift CNC Milling & Router Operator to join our custom manufacturing team in Charlotte. If you have experience operating industrial machinery (like mills or routers), enjoy working independently, and are looking for a stable, long-term opportunity on a great shift, we want to hear from you! $18 - $22 per hourshift: Secondwork hours: 2 PM - 10:30

No Degree RequiredResponsibilities Machine Operation:
Load raw materials (wood, plastics, or light metals) onto CNC milling and routing equipment and run pre-programmed jobs for die board production.
Basic Setups:
Follow simple setup sheets to align materials, secure fixtures, and ensure the machine is ready for the production run.
Tooling Changes:
Monitor tool performance and safely change out cutting tools, router bits, or milling inserts when they become worn.
Quality Checking:
Perform visual and basic dimensional checks on finished die boards using standard tape measures, calipers, or templates to ensure holes and slots line up perfectly.
Autonomous Problem Solving:
Work independently during the afternoon shift to keep machines running efficiently, clearing chips and debris from the workspace.
Shift Handover:
Communicate clearly with the 1st shift team during turnaround to understand what jobs are running and ensure a smooth operational transition.
Safety First:
Maintain a clean work area and strictly follow all safety guidelines and proper PPE requirements.
