Initiates changes in mold and core alignment, curing temperature, or timing cycle of casting machine to correct defects. Must be able to carry up to 30 lbs up stairs. Required to work in hot environment. Required to work with hand tools including drills. Follows all appropriate safety regulations. May be required to install foam into molded parts. May be required to assemble final parts. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. May perform minor maintenance on permanent mold casting machines. Maintains time and production records. Must be organized and keep a clean work environment May be selected to perform duties within other production lines based upon production demands Language Requirement Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English in order to: Comprehend written work instructions, safety notices, and machine documentation. Complete paperwork accurately and legibly. Understand and respond to verbal instructions and safety protocols. Participate in training and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing, operating machinery, using tools, and performing repetitive motions involving frequent bending and stooping. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds (e.g., filled boxes).

Visual acuity required to:

Read instructions and labels. Operate machinery safely. Inspect parts and products for quality. Work Conditions Manufacturing floor environment with exposure to machinery, moderate noise, and variable temperatures. Standard shift hours; overtime or weekend work may be required based on production needs.
