Full Job Description TITLE:
Manufacturing Machine Operator (overnight)

SHIFT:
Panama (2-2-3) 12-hour Night Shift (6pm-6am)
ABOUT THE ROLE
Brooksource Engineering Services is seeking Manufacturing Operators to support a highly automated device assembly and packaging operation within a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment in Concord, NC. These roles support the production of pre-filled syringes and autoinjector devices used in life-impacting therapies. Safety and quality are the highest priorities in this role. Operators are expected to strictly follow all safety procedures, quality systems, and regulatory requirements while supporting continuous, high-volume manufacturing operations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Execute device assembly and packaging operations in a GMP-regulated environment Operate, monitor, and interact with highly automated manufacturing equipment Maintain strict adherence to safety procedures, quality standards, and cGMP requirements Complete and verify production documentation, including electronic batch records, SAP transactions, and cleaning logs Accurately document manufacturing activities in compliance with regulatory requirements Identify, respond to, and escalate equipment, safety, or quality issues as they arise Participate in line clearance, startup, shutdown, and changeover activities Collaborate with maintenance, automation, engineering, and quality teams Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity
WHAT YOU BRING
High School Diploma or GED required Prior experience working in pharmaceutical, medical device, or GMP-regulated manufacturing environments preferred Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal Basic computer proficiency, including use of manufacturing systems and Microsoft Office Preferred Experience Experience working in highly automated production environments Exposure to automated assembly, inspection, or packaging equipment (robotics, conveyance systems, vision systems) Familiarity with pre-filled syringe, autoinjector, or combination product manufacturing operations Experience interacting with HMI screens and responding to equipment alarms Understanding of automated inspection systems, in-process controls, or serialized packaging operations Comfort performing line clearance and changeovers in equipment-driven manufacturing areas Physical & Work Requirements Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 12 hours) Ability to lift up to 35 pounds Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed shoes (Brooksource provided)
