Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$24.20 /hour
Shift:
2nd shift 3:20pm-11:50pm, M-F, Available to work overtime to support production goals as needed Why you should apply to be
Assembly Operator III:

Be part of a diverse workforce creating solutions for a safer, more connected world. What's a typical day as Assembly Operator III? You'll be: Assembling and packaging fiber optic connector components and terminating single and multi-fiber cables. Polishing and testing fiber optic cables and operating specialized equipment for the over-molding process. Supporting prototype product builds and pre-release NPI builds as needed. Measuring components using calipers, gauges, or other measuring devices. Completing necessary operational paperwork to maintain product traceability. Troubleshooting and performing minor repairs to equipment as required. Performing cleaning and contamination assessments for optical assemblies and EFG IPC workmanship checks. Assisting in process development and suggesting changes to improve manufacturing efficiencies. Maintaining housekeeping and organization in the work area while following all safety guidelines and company policies. This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have a high school diploma or GED (preferred). Bring at least 1 year of manufacturing experience with a solid understanding of safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity principles. Have at least 1 year of experience in a fiber optic manufacturing environment (preferred). Possess strong hand-eye coordination, motor skills, and attention to detail for intricate work. Are experienced in using hand tools and reading blueprints (preferred). Can work in a clean room environment wearing all required PPE and gowning garments. Are available and willing to work overtime to support production goals. Demonstrate excellent time management skills, accountability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
