Added on 4/7/2026 Knitter Location Hamlet, North Carolina Category Industrial & Manufacturing - Manufacturing / Plant Contract Type Contract/Temporary Salary $16.50/Hour Position Overview Olsten Staffing is seeking a reliable and skilled Knitter/Inspector to operate and maintain circular knitting machines while ensuring production and quality standards are met. This role involves routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, basic repairs, and quality inspection. The position also supports style and size changes and offers training and development opportunities to advance toward Technician-level responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Communicate machine performance concerns to Master Technician, Head Technician, Technicians, and Department Manager Document machine-related issues on the communication board Monitor machine LCD screens to identify stops and diagnose performance problems Track units produced to identify underperforming machines Report yarn performance issues to management Participate in shift meetings and collaborate with team members Perform weekly preventative maintenance according to leadership audits Assist with machine style and size changes as needed Perform basic repairs and part replacements within skill level Replace needles and sinkers following instructions and capabilities Inspect knitted products for visual defects, both relaxed and on form boards Replenish yarns and properly dispose of defective materials Complete doffing orders using the IFT keying system Verify yarn accuracy, machine settings, and manufacturing order details prior to production Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed Able to work independently with minimal supervision If you meet the qualifications for this Knitter position in Hamlet, NC please click on Now!

Pay Details:
