  • Knitting & Sewing Production | Hamlet, NC Olsten Staffing is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Machine Operators to join a growing production team in Hamlet, NC.
This position supports the manufacturing of high-quality textile and medical products through machine operation, product inspection, machine set-up, and quality control. Training is provided for motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Position Overview The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring knitting and sewing machinery, performing quality inspections, assisting with machine set-ups and changeovers, and maintaining production standards. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Operate knitting, sewing, and textile machinery to meet daily production goals Monitor machine performance and identify production or quality issues Perform machine set-ups and assist with style and size changeovers Verify yarns, materials, and manufacturing orders prior to production Inspect products for defects and ensure quality standards are met Replace needles, sinkers, and perform basic machine repairs within skill level Track production output and communicate machine concerns to leadership Replenish yarns and materials as needed Complete production paperwork and doffing orders accurately Assist with troubleshooting machine stops and performance issues Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Participate in shift meetings and continuous improvement initiatives Assist other departments and perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Manufacturing, textile, sewing, or knitting experience preferred but not required Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and quality Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Must be available to work any shift, including overtime as needed Experience with circular knitting machines such as Lonati or Santoni is a plus Why You'll Love Working Here Full-time, steady work schedule On-the-job training provided Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive team environment Hands-on experience with multiple types of machinery If you meet the qualifications for this Machine Operator position in Hamlet, NC, click " Now" to join our team!
Pay Details:
