This full-time, non-exempt position plays a key role in preparing knitting machines, performing changeovers, and ensuring products meet quality specifications. Position Overview The Set Up Operator performs machine set-ups and changeovers for style and size changes, ensures materials are correct, maintains product quality, and supports daily production. This role also involves basic repairs, communication of issues, and assisting the team in the Knitting Department. Key Responsibilities Perform machine set-ups and changeovers according to production specifications Ensure correct yarns, economizers, and materials are used during set-up Verify work order information matches machine LCD data Inspect products during and after set-up to meet quality standards Communicate set-up, sizing, or program concerns to the Knitting Manager, Master Technician, or R D team Recommend improvements for programs or processes as needed Evaluate and test basic machine support tools (yarn feeders, device units) Identify and report yarn quality or specification issues Perform basic repairs and part replacements within training/skill level Assist production as a Knitter, Technician, or Senior Inspector when needed Participate in shift meetings and production discussions Assist in training operators/technicians on proper set-up procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 3-5 years of experience in a circular knitting environment preferred Working knowledge of circular knitting machines If you meet the experience requirements, please click ' Now' to join our team!

Pay Details:
