Hendersonville, NC Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable blender operator to join a Hendersonville, NC beverage production team. The ideal candidate will ensure proper blending of concentrates according to customer specifications while maintaining food safety and quality standards
Location:
Hendersonville, NC
Shift:
2nd Shift - 6pm to 6am
Work Hours:
12-hour shift, temp-to-hire
Pay Rate:
$24.00/hr, increase to $25.00/hr once permanently hired Core Responsibilities
    Blending & Quality:
    Read and follow formula sheets to blend concentrates; match color, flavor, and quality attributes to control standards; perform quality checks (Brix, acid, pH, sensory, color) and adjust batches to meet specifications before releasing for production.
      Batch Operations:
      Weigh and pump ingredients, open drums and containers, use computer touch screens and hand-held scanners to fill batch tanks and execute formulas; research inventory needs and resolve batch errors.
        Food Safety & Compliance:
        Uphold food safety, food quality, and regulatory requirements; monitor CCPs, adhere to SQF standards, and notify management of any actual or potential food safety concerns.
          Sanitation & Housekeeping:
          Perform sanitation of tanks and rooms; move empty drums, totes, and bins for disposal or storage. Required Skills and Qualifications
            Experience:
            Minimum 6 months of manufacturing experience.
              Education:
              High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
                Skills:
                Forklift certification required; proficient in math; comfortable with computer systems and hand-held scanners. Additional Qualifications & Competencies
                • Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated food manufacturing environment.
                • Strong attention to detail for blending accuracy and quality recordkeeping.
                • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in wet/humid conditions with temperature fluctuations.
                • Must be able to perform taste testing of products as needed (up to a couple of ounces per test).
