Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Curb Machine Operator with prior experience operating slipform curb machines (Power Curbers or similar). The Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently setting up, operating, and maintaining curb machines to construct high-quality curb and gutter, sidewalks, ADA ramps, and related concrete structures. Duties Operate curb machine to install curb & gutter, sidewalks, ADA mats, medians, and other site concrete construction and project specifications. Read and interpret project drawings, grades, and layout stakes. Set up machine, string line, molds, and guide controls before pour. Monitor and adjust curb machine during operation to ensure proper line, grade, and finish. Perform routine machine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting to avoid downtime. Assist crew with concrete finishing, forming, and site prep as needed. Communicate effectively with foreman, crew, and/ or Superintendent on jobsite. Maintain a safe work environment per OSHA safety standards. Accurately track time, material, and production quantities. Experience operating forklifts and heavy machinery a plus. Understanding of machining processes, mechanical knowledge, and assembly techniques will be beneficial for this role.
