Job Description
The Embossing Operator will support customer demand in the graphics business by producing diffraction and holographic foils. Operate RM18 production of diffraction and holographic foils Establish and follow RM18 production parameters and set ups Maintain accurate production parameters and paperwork Pack backup rollers for shipping Maintain sleeve stock, pre-coat stock, back-up roller stock, machine and room supplies Work with spooling/finishing and QC department to identify quality issues from embossing with the ability to make adjustments accordingly Maintain the clean room environment and clean work place Support and maintain Safety and Environmental programs Skills and Ability Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently High degree of precision while inspecting for optical defects Mechanical ability to change embossing and back up rollers, and replicating sleeves with extreme care, cleanliness and safety Mechanical ability to perform routine equipment maintenance Ability to work overtime as requested Proven safety and environmental compliance Ability to demonstrate a 'team' approach Proven quality compliance Keen attention to detail Previous operating experience desired Knowledge of basic math 3 years in a manufacturing environment preferred
