Operates a variety of machines used in the production of air compressors, valves, clutches and water pumps. Duties & Responsibilities
Operate a variety of multi-purpose metal working machines, ie; automatic screw machine, drill press, bore and hone, turret lathe, centerless grinder, air and arbor press, mills, punch press, etc
Possess excellent math skills
Perform inspection of parts by use of highly accurate measuring instruments ie; micrometers, dial gauges, calipers, etc
Read and interpret blueprints and dimensional drawing
Move stock using hand trucks and pallet jacks
Move tote boxes, trays, bins and other types of containers as required
Adhere to plant Safety Program and policies
Perform counts as required
Maintain a clean work area, tools, and equipment
Understand and actively participate in Haldex Way activities

Must be able to bend over, grasp, push and pull heavy loads as required
Must be able to use pneumatic tools, hand tools and various other machines such as electronic testers, manual testers, vices, presses, etc. as required
